The firm assisted the shareholder-managers of Cantiere delle Marche in a management buy-out operation that involved the sale of 100% of the company’s shares to a corporate vehicle held by the Austrian Family Office Fil Bros, followed by the managers’ reinvestment to maintain a minority stake. Founded in 2010 and based in Ancona, ‘Cantiere delle Marche’ has been the world’s leading builder and operator of explorer yachts since 2015 and is currently the twelfth largest shipyard in the world by meters of boats under construction. As part of the operation, the firm assisted the sellers in negotiating and defining the share transfer agreement and the reinvestment agreements.
